Oregon Christian Home Education Curriculum Show
put on by OCEANetwork
The Oregon Christian Home Education Curriculum Show, (formerly known as the
NW Curriculum Exhibition), scheduled for June 29 & 30, 2007, is a homeschool trade show, or curriculum fair. In its twenty-second
year, the event is the largest home school event in Oregon. For more than two decades it’s been the place for publishers
of quality textbooks and literature to meet the Christian home education community.
But it’s more than that. For those just starting homeschooling there's
a Beginning Homeschool Workshop from 9:30 - 12:00 both mornings. This workshop will be great for those who have been homeschooling
three years or less or for your friends who are considering homeschooling. The workshop is free after admission to the OCEANetwork
Curriculum Show and Sale.
Also free with admission is the Used Curriculum Exchange. Sell last year's
school books or find bargans for next year - you can do both at the Used Curriculum Exchange.

The Coffee House will open up to any and all LaneCH moms that
can break away from the kids (except
nursing wee ones)
For those of you coming from Eugene/Springfield, take exit 182
and veer to the right at the offramp
(you'll have a yield sign).
Take Oregon Ave. over the tracks and up to 3rd. We're on the south corner.

Being a homeschool dad is full of unique experiences and great opportunities
to train our children in the way they should go. Come share breakfast with dads who are in the thick of it, as well.

"NOT BACK To School" celebration
LIVELY SWIM PARK
Tuesday Sept 5th
Location: 6100 Thurston Rd., Springfield
12noon - 1pm (private homeschool swim) 1-5pm open to all
There is a small donation asked, $1.50 each swimmer.
Everyone else
is in government school! This event is for homeschoolers. Last few years there were a LOT of people there.
If
you are a new homeschooler, it gives great encouragement to be in a place filled with other homeschoolers. Yes, you are not
alone!
This event is sponsored by LIGHT, but all homeschoolers are welcome to attend.
